Tyler Bunton

Hello! My name is Tyler Bunton, and I am one of the coaches here at Champion Living Fitness. Although fitness has always been a big part of my life being an athlete (baseball, bull riding, & cross country) in high school and college it wasn’t something I had a passion for at first. It was always just something I was required to do for athletics. In 2016 I was starting to make my way up to competing in bull riding at PBR Touring pro division events and PRCA rodeos when I got slammed down and broke my jaw in 5 places. After surgery I went from about 150lbs down to about 118lbs. When I was cleared to go back to riding, I ended up breaking my jaw again 4 months later. I then knew that something needed to change if I wanted to ride at that next level. I started focusing on my fitness and nutrition to do everything I possibly could to help prevent injury and keep me in the right position on the back of a bull. This is where I found my true passion for the gym, nutrition, and the mental aspects of fitness and competition. 


When I found this new love for fitness, I was attending college to become a physical therapist assistant and found I really didn’t like the idea for being in the clinical setting. I felt that I could help more people change their lives for the better, as a fitness coach. In March, of 2018 I obtained my Personal Training Certification through the National Exercise Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) and became an in person and online coach. Primarily focusing on helping clients with weight loss. Over the years I continued my education in different aspects of fitness to help clients and obtained other certifications through NESTA in lifestyle & weight management, functional training, physique & figure, and sports injury and now I am currently studying to be a Certified Nutritionist with the ISSA. When Doug reached out to me to join Champion Living Fitness I was overjoyed. There is nothing that have more passion for than being a fitness coach and rodeo. I love helping others change their lives and become the best version of themselves by living a healthy lifestyle. I cannot wait to be your coach!
